Athina Stamelakis is a Lawyer in the Supreme Court of Greece. She has graduated from the Athens Law School of the National Kapodistrian University and she holds a Master's Degree in Private International and European Law from the Greek National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and she holds a diploma of National School of Economics with specialisation in Tax Law.

She has been for many years Member and President of the Association of Young and Practicing Lawyers of Piraeus and senior editor of the scientific and social Young lawyers’ periodical journal “PARISTAMAI”. She has also been member of the Municipal Corporation for the Cultural Development of the Municipality of Piraeus (KODEPAP) and she held the position of Secretary of the Women's Union of Greece, Piraeus Branch (ENEON). Ms Stamelakis is an elected Administrative member of Board of Directors of the Mutual Fund of Piraeus’ Lawyers since 2012 and since 2017 she is an elected member of the Board of Directors of the Piraeus Bar Association with an extensive interest in their sector matters.

Ms Stamelakis is practicing in Law fields of Civil, Family, Labour, Property, Corporate- Banking and Business Law for almost 2 decades. She speaks fluently English and French and basic German. She has been working as External Legal Counsel in the Legal Dept in Alpha Bank in Property law matters from 2002 until 2014 further to her practice period and she is Major Attorney at Law in A.Stamelakis Law Firm & Associates in Piraeus since 2012. She lives and works in Piraeus and she is married with three children.
